Default portraits from a point and shoot camera

Long time I don't visit the forum, I see I'm missing a lot of information.

I took this photo on my home Garage with a Nikon Coolpix L12. a 7.1MP camera.
Just using ambient light from outsite, camera flash and a lot of Photoshop. For background I used two white blanket.
