Sensor Cleaning Gel Stick

So, I've never used a sensor cleaning method before. Not that I could do it, I just didn't know how or want to mess up the filter infront of my sensor.

Then I found out about this gel stick on another forum. Well, it really sounded too easy to be true. I was shocked to find out it was actually EASIER to clean than I expected -- infact it was so much easier than I expected I ordered 60 more sealed sticky sheets so that I can clean it as much as I freakin' want.

You can tell from the 3 attached images it took two cleanings to get the sensor clean as it was very dirty. I'm completely sold on this method.

What is the name of the product? I couldn't find it in the thread you posted. Thanks.

EYELEAD is one name. A local pro/friend has been saying very good things about these. I have one on order, but it hasn't arrived yet.

I ordered those a couple days ago. Sounds like they are coming on a slow boat (end of May?). I used swabs & got 95% of the junk cleaned off. Hoping the Stick does the rest.

Ordered mine from ebay last Wednesday 4/23. Just tracked it - left Chicago today 5/1, so shouldn't be long.

Ordered mine on Amazon. I rechecked & it says April 30, 2014. I sent an email to the seller to see if that was correct/what the reason is. I'm not in a big hurry, but a month is a little slow.

Got an answer back from my email. It's just an Amazon glitch, it's been shipped. I've had that happen before with Amazon, their estimated ship dates can't always be relied on.

I read the write up on these. While they look promising, there are some issues with antistatic coatings on some camera sensors. Be careful and double check before sticking into your cameras.

It's also not recommended for mirror cleaning, but the verdict isn't completely in on that.
