Default SANYO ENELOOP XX Batteries?

Is there anybody here using the new SANYO ENELOOP XX Batteries? They are new. Are they better than the regular ones? I would use them for flash strobes for wedding photography.

Have you seen these available "out in the wild" yet?

I made a thread last year about them, but I don't think anyone who replied had touched the newer XX model. They were brand new, and only available in Asia.

I remember them being very expensive, and not necessarily worth it at the time. The XX list price was really high compared to the similar capacity Imedion batteries, which are also low discharge.

You mean these that I ordered five weeks ago and used in my Sb-700 with great success?

I'll be purchasing these from now on.

Yes, it seemed to me a "high end model" of the same eneloop. For extra money, of course!

I'll be purchasing these from now on.
Yes! Can you compare them to the older Eneloop versions? Do they last noticeably longer?

I bought 16 of them a few months ago. I also use Powerex as well.
I don't see a difference from a practical viewpoint, except the price.
Powerex about $3.50 each. Newest Eneloops are about $5.50 each.

The eneloops hold charge longer. I prefer eneloops. Powerex sucks after using for wedding photography for 6-9 months... (lots of use )...

Just one man's opinion...
What are you using for a charger?

I've only used the XX so far... Lasting a really long time. I just got them a few weeks ago and used them only in the flash. Can't compare them yet.
