The stand and umbrella I carried around? It literally looked exactly like the stand on the right side of this photo from Dave Hobby, though I didn't use a strap:

I even had the same bag (though mine was blue for most of my career; I did have a khaki one that I kept my film stuff for class in).

I meant how you carry it around and take pics with it.

Btw, just came from a photo trip with a friend (a Nikon guy) and he literally carried a 28 inches Westcott Apollo and a stand around. The results were stunning! I'm very jealous.
I want to achieve the same but with more practical set-up.

Update.


These two items are on the way:

- Lastolite LU2126 Brolly Grip Kit with 20" Translucent Umbrella.

- Lastolite Telescopic Extension Handle, Long, for the EZBox Hotshoe, Extends from 25" to 60". Not sure one can mount anything other than the EZbox with this one, but I ordered it any way Somebody is coming from the US so there are no shipping costs
