Has anyone tried the Hoya HRT? Or the B+W Kaesemann?

I have little doubt that B+W filters are awesome, however I have always felt that Hoya HMC filters provided the best "bang for the buck" so to speak.

You won't be disappointed with the B+W Kasemann.

I have a non-Kasemann B+W 77mm circular polarizer that has been beaten around in my bags for six years now, and is still going strong. My filters from other manufacturers have pretty much all "bought it" at some point and needed replacement, but I'm also pretty hard on my gear at times.

For me the B&W Kasemann in 77mm is the most cost effective allowing me to get the best quality with almost every lens I own. I have step rings for the lenses that have a filter size smaller than 77mm. Only thing it doesn't fit is my 300mm and 400mm f2.8 lenses.

Just a basic Tiffen circular polarizer is a good value and made in the US.. I have a fully multi coated Nikon CP and I do not see that it works any better. As a matter of fact it has dust and stuff between the elements. I just keep it in a box to remind me how I wasted the $150.00 for it.

The kaesman is supposedly sealed, which will keep out dust.
