I was going to come, but one of employees is off due to an injury and I am experiencing the busiest first third of a year I have ever had. Maybe next time.

Good news and bad news is always the same news.

Uh, sorry and congratulations at the same time?

The sorry was for the fact you can't make it.
The Congrats was for the busiest first third of a year you've ever had.

A photograph is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it just isn't that good.

Got another couple of photographers coming now.

And they decided to stay in the same condos too.
We also have a couple of people that are either looking at coming for a day, or staying in the Wawona campgrounds (inside the park).

So we currently have 13 people staying in the condos and a couple coming for the day on Friday.
One of them may be camping out.

Any more?

I'm going to be in Florida from 3/19 to 4/1.....and I know my wife (who is not going with me to Florida) would not be happy if I got back and took off right away..... So with deep regret I'll have to pass on this.....

So how about it?

There are some of you who expressed an interest, but haven't said anything since.

WayneM? You're in the neighborhood. If you are going to come for a day, there are a few others that are doing that, and are expected on Friday the 9th.

Flashpoint (Frank)? You going to make the drive from Vegas?

Wildmaven? Is it worth the drive from Washington for a few days of fun?

Verdesardog (Michael) I believe you said you had commitments and couldn't make it. Too bad. If things change, I understand taht there are STILL campgrounds at Wawona (inside the park) available.

ChrisQ, you were asling about hikes and shoots? Does that mean you are interested?

Fossil fox, any updates?

Gil (gbutler) how was the trip in the end of Feb? Did you get the firefalls? Did you post it and I missed it? Got a link? Thanks

JDArt, probably a tad bit of a drive for you. But are you going to join us?

Rocky (CanadianRocky) I do believe you said your business was getting in the way of your having fun?

And Ken-L, you are just getting back from Fl and can't make another trip that soon.

Did I miss anyone? Is anyone else interested?
There are still camping sites available as well as some condos still available.

So far we have 15 people confirmed for the condos. Yes that includes family members, but I know that at least 9 of us will be shooting, including my wife and daughter.
Another three people coming for the day on Friday, and one of them possibly camping for a night or two.
Any more?

I'm interested. I'll have to look into the dates and feasibility. It's about an 8 hour drive for me, I think. It's on my list of places I want to visit, so....I'll let you know.

I am going to try to get there if only as a day trip, but I'll bring a toothbrush and if comfortable lodging is available for a night, well that's possible too!

After considering my schedule (and wife's), the timing (so near to paying taxes), and other expenses, I'm going to have to take a pass on this trip. A shame because it should be a lot of fun!
