It's far enough away that you won't hear me snoring.

Seriously though, it looks like that campground is close to the Western entrance at Highway 120 (see the first map), and the condo is about another half hour from there (see the second map).

Yeah, it's a HUGE park.

I will enter via the entrance at Highway 120, head towards the valley floor, and then turn south and go past the entrance for Highway 140 to get to the condo.

This image is shamelessly from the the National Parks Service.

Now here's the map showing where Scenic Wonders (the condos) is/are.

A photograph is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it just isn't that good.

Shameless plug here.
This isn't the only place I am soliciting for people to go on this little outing.
So far there are four of the condos rented out for our gathering.
Yes, people are bringing kids.
In fact, my daughter will be fighting with my wife over who gets to use the Canon 20D.
(I'll be using my 50D )

Edit: Lowell, will your wife be shooing with your Rebel?

I would love to do something like this if it wasn't for a particular spring football game. Have a lot of fun. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Ooooooooooooo........... I wanna go! We were in Yosemite last year and I came back with fabulous photos. Make sure you don't miss Mono Lake at sunset! We have a timeshare at Juno Lake and it's a 2day drive down from here in WA. Hmmmmm....

Unfortunately a easy trip to Mono lake from Yosemite will probably not be possible in early April as the Tioga pass road (highway 120) will probably not be open yet.
