Another architecture shot from Rotterdam. Rotterdam has some very interesting buildings (in fact, seems like the whole of the Netherlands has interesting architecture ).





Possibly it looks a bit abstract. To put it in context, this is the whole building.

On day two it rained and rained (and rained), so we got a little bit soaked - but that doesn't put off the intrepid Camel and we just shrugged it off and carried on regardless. We did though decide to take a boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam - a benefit of which was that we were sheltered so could dry off for a bit .



While we were waiting to board, Max pointed out an interesting perspective with the very large and wide billboard across the canal (the building in the background is Centraal train station):



Water was everywhere - both in the canal and falling from the sky .



Light fitting on the canal boat


Looking through the glass


Rope tie through the glass


There were plenty of opportunities to capture the contrast between the old and the new in Amsterdam, like this shot of the historic canal and construction in the distance.
