Architecture Information

One of the things I've taken to doing lately to help improve my architecture photography is not only to take more photos of architecture, but also to read more about architecture and design.

Books are one source, but I'm finding that magazines are the best place to find good articles on trends in architecture, to find case studies on new buildings and to look at photos to use as examples or to give me ideas to try.

Architectural Photography Bookshelf

Since joining the group of moderators towards the end of last year, I've been concentrating more and more on capturing architectural images that say more than just "this is a building".

One of the difficulties in doing this is that the field of architecture is a recognized art form of it's own and the buildings that I like to photograph are the one's that stand out as works of art.
