Geometric and busy, but seems really true to life. Nice job on it and the B&W probably helps. Must have been a tall cruise ship...?

Most cruise ships are tall, but not quite that tall. Must have been inside one of the buildings instead. Kobe must be a port city and not just for tourism. I see some cranes at the extreme left-hand edge for loading and unloading container ships. We also have quite a collection of them here in Oakland, CA.

Good call on most of your points, Alan, Kobe is a large port. A 360 degree look would show that most of the port is devoted to non-cruise ship activities and activities similar to those you describe in Oakland.
