Thanks guys!, I was using the 500mm f/4 L at about minimum focus distance or roughly 14 to 15 feet.

Those are some great shots. Sharp as can be on the subject and some super smooth bokeh.
How close where you for those, which length did you take them at?

Thank you, I could point you to the post I made directly prior to yours that spoke to exactly what you are asking but I know that using quick reply it is easy to miss some comments.
