Default Kestrel

I'm still trying to find a lighter weight option for bird photography. Comments about how successful these are would be appreciated.

Thanks, it is not so much that my preferred option Nikon D500 + 200-500 lens is so heavy (just over 3kg) but that I'm getting older, have back problems and prefer to walk around taking shots hand held. These were shot using Nikon D850 + 300mm PF lens + 1.4TC (just under 2kg), considerable crops were used.

These are nice, the middle one being best in my opinion. Can't help with the weight but there are some very good point & shoots out there.

Thanks for the comments - unless I specifically go to a place to photograph birds I increasingly take a point and shoot rather than a DSLR with a long lens. Just can't get the same quality of shots.
