Took these shots in Martin Mere WWT centre. The enclosure was marked as Chilean teal. This could be the female of the species or something completely different. The enclosures are not really enclosed & ducks can move around the enclosures.

As the Chilean Teal is also called the yellow-billed duck I think we can rule Chilean Teal female out. Very difficult to Id a female duck without knowing where in the world it's from.

Thanks Kevin. I also thought it will be difficult to ID a female without knowing the provenance
