Default Backyard Cardinal

This female spent a busy 2+ weeks in our backyard building a nest and then hatching 2 babies. Once the eggs hatched it seemed like the babies were gone within 4 or 5 days. Not certain if they flew away or something got them.

Wish I could get more time to work with the camera but I keep getting distracted by other projects around the house.

Nice shot. Agree with Kevin, but I have a tendency to crop really tight.

Gene....

I know what you mean about the tight crop. I get carried away with the birds and also people photographs. Difficult to break the habit.
