Default "Brown" northern mockingbird

Not everywhere but back and wings primarily. Caught with a spider meal. I have watched this one around the yard for several weeks and have wondered about the brown tinge.

Ready to launch.

Very strange coloration Bill. Also no wing bars but I've seen that in juveniles but this doesn't look like a juvenile. Do you have other shots of this bird? It does have the white spot on the primary coverts which is typical for mockers.

I was looking through my Mockingbird shots and came across this one lacking the wing bars. I guess it's just a phase they can go through. Not quite as much reddish brown as yours though.

Good shots and interesting bird Bill. Shows how difficult it is sometimes IDing birds.
