Default Beach Birds -- More Questions Than Answers

Here are a few shots from yesterday, low tide at Bunche Beach, Fort Myers, Florida. My knowledge of the "beach birds" is limited, to say the least.
#1 is a Semipalmated Plover, right?
#2: Is this one a non-breeding Black-bellied Plover?
#3 through #5: A Marbled Godwit. These three images were shot in rapid succession. Shot #4 shows the bird doing something that I didn’t know was even possible.
Thanks, Larry

Very nice images. My uninformed guess would agree with you on #2 id.

Excellent series Larry and I'd agree with your IDs. The weird bending of the upper mandible is called rhynchokinesis. Google gives loads of info but here is a good scientific explanation

Thanks, Bill, Gautam, and Kevin. Also, thanks to Kevin for the link to the article on rhynchokinesis (a word that would stump a spelling bee champ).
