Default Short eared owls

Well got up nice and early and made my way to Farlington marshes my local Nature reserve in the hope of seeing the owls, Unfortunately they did not come in close so these are quite big crops, Not amazing shots due to this and the busy foliage backgrounds made them hard to track but certainly worthy of sharing.
Was great to finally meet Colin (Cogs) and enjoyed spending a few hrs with him on the marshes.

Thanks Colin, It was great to be able to put a face to your name As I was leaving I had a look through one of the twitchers spotting scopes just along from where we were and it was still in the long grass in front of us all you could see was it's yellow eyes it was well hidden. Saw a couple of beardys round by the Hut and a heron on the edge of the pond behind it.
