More like the unlucky Kingfisher on this occasion, as these shots show...

As you can see, these above were all at a distance and needed a fairly heavy crop. A shame, as the light was reasonable when I took them. As soon as the light failed and the rain started, that was the time the bird decided to land near me with a fish he'd caught. Typical!
