Today was the first chance I've had to get out for a while and it was a dark day with poor light. I only got as far as my garden but this Nuthatch obliged by sitting still for a second. 1000mm @ ISO 20,000:

Exposure's spot on my screen. I just find the bird a tad overly sharp for my tastes.

Personal tastes. It's about as far as I'd want to go with sharpening (I enhanced what I had to offset the loss of detail from use of high ISO followed by NR) but still what I'd consider acceptable.
