Default Ms Hummingbird

I watched this female Ruby-throated Hummingbird as she preened only to see her attitude for me taking that liberty.

An awesome set of hummingbird shots Ed. My fave is the third one. You must have been quite close when taking these?

Thanks, Wolf! The third is my favorite too. I shot these at 840mm from about 20 feet, which is just about MFD for that setup.

Thanks, Joshua! I enjoy them too, but this year was really strange with the hummers. Usually, I have a swarm of them at each feeder, but only 3-4 at a time this year. Last Saturday, when these were shot, there were three females working both of my feeders.

Great set Ed, like the 3rd where she's sticking her tongue out at you.
