Default Grey lag Geese taking off

Every bird I saw today was distant. I spotted a flock of c. 100 Greylag Geese at a bird hide I sometimes visit, this group of 6 birds took off and performed a circuit of the pond the others were sitting beside. Taken with Canon 1Dx with 500mm f/4 + 1.4x TC III = 700mm:

heck even a tighter crop and a little content aware will
make another rendition of this great image

Thanks for taking the time and no problem, always glad to see what others come up with
The crop is a little tight in the frame for me as you've done it. A bit like sharpening I think, subjective and we all like different approaches.

Excellent shot Mark. I prefer your crop but think the content aware fill done by Josh does improve the shot.

Thank you both. Having had another look at the version done by Josh, I agree the content aware adjustment improves on the fence I left in (you should have seen the BG before I did some content aware fill on the original image!), so thanks again for that Josh

Thank you, we are all here to help each other out etc.. I am glad that we can offer constructive critique and it's accepted positively.
