Welcome to the bird forum Buck, nice to see new posters. An excellent set for your 1st post here and I was surprised to see the Rose-breasted Grosbeak was shot at 50mm. Was it through a window?

Thank you kindly for the warm welcome!

The Grosbeak shot was actually made with my Canon 500mm f/4.5 FD lens on an FD to EF adapter (and we were both outdoors with no window between us). The lack of communication between the old FD lens and the 7D body somehow rendered it as 50mm in the EXIF.
