I must say that I was a bit un-nerved by the number of vultures I saw this morning. I only brought my 400mm or I could have shown you more in a small area. I looked for a body, but didn't find one. This was taken at the Glendale Recharge Ponds, about a half mile due west of Cardinal's stadium.

Nice set it's amazing a few years back I hardly would see vultures now they are everywhere just like the Canadian geese

Nice series Ian. On a different note, I'm really surprised at the difference in sharpness of shots between the 1024 of your image and the 1000 that photocamel uses to display them. It really pays to click on the bar above the image to get the best view.

Nice shots.... I have never seen vultures there, I wonder if they travelled north from Tres Rios?

I saw the spoonie this morning, Alex. It was a total surprise (I hadn't read anything about it). I hadn't been out there for a year or two before yesterday.
