Default Bald Eagles

Shot these along the Dolores River near Stoner, Colorado. The eagles gather in numbers around 25 to 40 annually for a release of salmon from a local hatchery.

Bald eagles used to be a rarity for me ... not anymore since coming to Camel where I find they're about as numerous as sparrows.

These shots are AWESOME! Thanks for sharing.

Keep 'em coming folks ...

John:
Excellent. I like the great detail and the sun effect of the trailing edge of the wing.

Nice images. People usually go for the wings lit underneath but here the backlighting works well on the wing edge. The first is my favourite and it's nice to see he has some space to 'fly into'
