ALL are awesome. Eagles just ooze "power" even through still photos!

I'm glad somebody said there are no "dumb" questions...because I want to ask one that might be pretty basic for some of the forum members:

Are these shots made using the flash or Speedlight, or are you just able to angle your shots to best use existing light?

You get these by accident and I have never even seen one. Very unfair!

But ---- your pics makes up for that somewhat. Very nice. #3 - superb.

Thanks Amy.. was quite pleased that they came out so well myself

Thank you Brent.. I went back and forth on that bolt.. actually left it in as a personal choice.. does work quite well without too

Thank you Mark.. that was the point it started screaming at us.. guess to let us know that we were too close

Thanks Kevin!.. I actually don't do too much adjustments to the RAW as far as vibrance is concerned, but I did have to play a delicate balance of other adjustments as the lighting was pretty bad out there.. Just upgrades to PSE10 and though not much different than my current PSE8, I may be rethinking my workflow

Thanks!.. Hadn't really noticed the poo stain though. lol

Thanks David.. and as you say there are NO stupid questions here.. No there wasn't any flash used in these shots. I try my best to get between the subject and the sun, but since the cloud cover was pretty thick that day, the light was subdued without a lot of harsh shadows and highlights to deal with

II started a thread on the subject.. hopefully we can get some good input:

Thanks so much!.. Is funny, two years ago i never really "saw" any Eagles.. don't think the amount out there has really changed, just now I notice them so much more..

Absolutely beyond stunning - with #3 being the best of the lot! I've just moved to an area that seems to have an abundance of eagles, and if I can get shots 1/4 as good as this, I'll be happy!
