Default Starlings

I shot these a couple of days ago. Had a bright, flat sky for a background. Going to try to catch them from a better angle, but they seem to like the tops of the trees.

Found them! great shots just watch the CA, it's easy to get rid of in post.

Great shots. Amazing how they blend in with the camo on the branches.

Using ACR, reducing one color of CA in one place produced another color in another place, especially in the first photo. Guess I'll have to research how to get rid of it more effectively.

PS. Thanx for the kind words, everybody. I'm really having a blast with the new lens.

Nice compositions but, as said, shame about the CA. Make sure your lens is spotless and try to avoid too much backlighting.
It's possible to remove it in PP but best if you don't get it in the first place!

Pat
