Hi to all, another afternoons visit to my favorite farm provided the following results.
The male Northern Pintail I have seen on recent visits, is now joined by a female.
The Tern is a White Winged Black Tern in full winter plumage. The only non diving Tern, it scoops along the water surface to catch insects.
Finally I caught up with the Greater Spotted Eagle that I have only seen in flight during my recent visits. It was late afternoon, I had to jump to 800 ISO and still only had a shutter speed of 1/80 sec. but I was quite pleased with my photo.
C&C welcome

Hi Gautam, Thanks appreciated

Jaap, sorry I realized after my last post, the you must have ment too tightly cropped with loss of detail, that partly true, but if you read my first post I had poor light. Dont you agree that we all have sometime to accept what we get. I have far better shots from previous years, heres one for you, with more detail

Great series John, despite the slow shutter speed :>)

Excellent series John. Love the first two duck shots. Great low angles and real nice poses. The first might need just a bit ccw rotation.

The eagle shot is real nice, great light, nice pose and lovely background. I agree with Jaap on it lacking fine detail, but I would be very hapy with that shot. Especially with shhoting at that slow of a shutter speed. I know I tried it in the past and get nothing but blurry pics. So my hat off to you John for pulling it off.
Well done.
