Hi to all, another afternoon's birding trip provided the following results.
Not sure if it's of any interest to many, but I copy and paste my trips diary records.

I took my first photo of the Pratincole at what I thought would be his comfort distance, but then he flew and landed next to me. The bird really was eyeballing me.

I said thank you Pratincole (yes I do speak to birds sometimes, don't we all) I started to reverse away out of the field, can you believe he followed me, I stopped and he landed next to me. I started to move again, once again he followed and landed next to me, An absolutely surreal experience
I set up my movie camera, he then started to perform with all kind of body movements, but at the same time still continuing eyeballing me. Really quite an amazing experience.
As we enter into our winter months, sunset, of course comes earlier, in the late afternoon, the setting sun gives perfect lighting condition, giving our subjects a glow of radiance. The colour of the Duck, is not a Photoshop edit, it's truly WYSIWYG

My birds to day, Collared Pratincole, Pied Wheatear (female) yet once again more Kestrel photos (yawn) and finally what I think may be a Pintail Duck in eclipse plumage. C&C welcome

Sorry for the double post of the duck, the first should have been a second Kestrel shot, my mistake, it seems that when you download direct from your hardrive it's not possible to edit and remove. If there is a way to do that, I would be pleased to know. Thanks

Another fantastic series John. Can't you go to edit for the post, manage attachments and then delete the one you don't want?
