Default Barn Swallow

Hello everyone. Well this past weekend I took my family up to White Sands NM. Weather was terrible with high winds and in a place where theres nothing but sand its not a good combo. Well at the end of the day we went to gift store and thats where I spotted this little one. Was only able to get one shot. Not the best but Im happy with it. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.

With those high winds, I'm surprised you were able to get anything. Excellent image, Robert. I love the composition. I'd be very pleased with it.

Nice shot of this cute little guy, Robert.. At first though i would have said a tighter crop with a little off the left and about a third off the right... BUT the more I looked at, I think the wide view really compliments the smooth background..

I would be very happy with this one Robert It has great definition and I like the look we have of the tail feathers. I hope you at least had fun at White Sands. It is such an unusual and beautiful place....

Bill - I was not to sure about the crop either. I really did not like how that branch stuck up on the right and kinda of distracted from the bird. So cropped a little tighter and I think it looks better.

Nice shot with the creamy background. I must admit, those little guys drive me crazy in the summer, building nests all around my house and diving at me everytime I walk outside.
