Great Shot!!

BTW:
I had a similar shot of an Osprey and a PSA judge said that it looked like a snapshot!

For those people who enjoy this image photographed by phoebe I wanted to point out that you can follow the link at the bottom of his post: www.rwoolridge.com to see Ron's Gallery. Personally I have it bookmarked. You might enjoy looking at a few of his raptors look at a few pages and then return later to check some of the other images of other birds. Pour yourself a mug of hot coffee then relax while you enjoy the images he has posted there...

Nice action capture with this eagle phoebe. The swing of the legs and the expression of concentration on the eagle's face is excellent. Florida photographers get shots with pines and spanish moss. Northern photographers capture eagle images with pines but no spanish moss. In Iowa we have few pine trees so we often capture eagles with corn stalks....

Hidden inside "imagination" is the root word magi (yes as in the three wise men of the nativity story). The magi were considered to be wise men or magicians. Before you snap that next photo, explore your imagination and you will capture more memorable "magi"cal moments in your photography.... Tom in Iowa

Wow. They must be one of the best photogs on the planet to call catching a shot like this of any bird a 'snapshot'
