Default B4 & After - Product shot

Wrapping up a product shoot for a new sport drink. I believe these images will be used when they update their web site. Greater Than | All Natural Coconut Water Powered Sports Drink

The bottles use a heat-shrink sleeve label which doesn't photograph well. The double-layer of plastic at the base of the bottle isn't pretty, only one of the bottles in one flavor had decent placement of the plastic label, so I had to composite the final images from back-lit bottles with the labels cut back, a second image to get the colored text on the label, and the label on the red bottle which had the best placement of the colored band on the bottom of the bottle.

These also have a white on white glossy/flat component to the label which required some enhancement.

So I take it you used the black wrap at the bottom to kill the reflections in the clear part of the label? Looks good.

Nice product shots, any chance of seeing a lighting set-up?

The single bottle image and the triple bottles in depth image are both great in my book. A lot of little things goes in to those 2 images, and I think you nailed them.

Feeling lazy right now and since it was basically a light-tent setup I'd have to take probably 4 different shots to show anything meaningful of the setup - and I'm in a cramped space so that doesn't help.

I used SB-800s for the left and right sides in 27" DIY soft boxes. For the backlight shot I had two more SB-800s taped to a bookend positioned behind the bottles with a piece of photo paper folded to stand up as a diffuser. I had white shower curtains on the left and right side between the soft box and the card table I was shooting on - about 12" of space between the soft boxes and the shower curtains.

I'd close the front of the curtains when shooting. I'd put an additional 42" diffuser in front of the closed curtains and had an Einstein with barn doors firing from the front. One speedlight and the Einstein were on radio triggers. The other speedlights were in SU-4 mode.

Thank you.

Yes, but I also cut the labels off at the top and bottom ribs in the bottle so in the final images there is no label to ugly-up the product.
