Default 5 years later ...

I turned up some photos from the first time I tried shooting Lacrosse back in January of 2008, and the same girls this past weekend.

The old photos were taken indoors in crappy light with a Nikon D80 at ISO 2500 and a very slow Sigma 75-300 zoom. This was my first DSLR and I had owned it for just over a month at that point.

The new shots were obviously outside in nice light with a D300s at ISO 200 and a rented Nikon 400mm f/2.8.

A world of difference. Different light, different camera, absolutely no comparison between lenses. And I'm sure 5 years of practice had a good deal to do with it also. Good set.
