Very beautiful! Pardon my ignorance, but is that an actual painting or a digital painting, not that either medium is better than the other.

Many thanks to all for the kind feedback...
Tommy...it is a digital painting known as smudging. It is not a click of the button with filters but all sections are hand painted on layers above the original. You use the original as the base and then using the smudge tool, brushes and layers, re-paint the image...

I use a tablet to do this and whilst each image takes a long time to do it is very relaxing etc...
