Here is a picture that I am not sure what to do to it to make it appealing (if that can be done).

How about adding some more color to it and crop a bit? (+ saturation, slight s-curve, crop)

My take on it is to soften the image a little, as well as some cropping of the building on the RHS.

I too like Paul's soft approach and I also think a person on the bench might make this a lot more apealing.

I found this quite hard on the eyes, very bright. So tried using a "glow" effect to give the feel of looking through sunglasses. Maybe a bit oversaturated though. Slight trim to the rhs as well although I wasn't sure about that as I like the sweep of the foreground branch.

I guess its because I am getting older but it would also be nice to see an Older Couple on one bench and a young couple on the other looking at them. Love grows stronger with time.

I love the shot in all of the forms so far. Great pictures stand by themselves.
