Looks more like sunrise/sunset lighting than full-on night, with the sun still hitting the tops of the skyscrapers. Not to complain though; the lighting really makes this shot, or more precisely and more likely, stitched series of shots.

I think this shot could easily be done as a single
exposure today ... but 20 yrs ago, stitching was
prolly the only decent way to do it.

If I know my geography, this is looking eastward
so that would indicate a sunset shot.

1600 pix wide. It might be a single exposure, or it might be a very good stitched panorama. A single shot would be good enough for display or a print small enough for a residential wall, but putting one up on a commercial wall would perobably still call for a stitch job. I used to do a fair number of stitched panoramas, but printing them out or displaying them in full detail were both problematic.

I get an unusually peaceful, tranquil feeling from this one. Nice work.

Twenty years ago, I would have shot this panorama as a single exposure on large format film and cropped.

Today, I would shoot this with multiple digital exposures and stitch.
