divide 50 by 1.6 so around 30mm.

FWIW, I consider "chimping" to be making adjustments based on what you see on the LCD. For the purpose of this exercise, however, I think it would be best to take a "no peeking" approach and wait until you "develop" the roll before you see what you got.

Do you have an external lightmeter, that you could use?

I like the idea but why not just go try the real thing? Film bodies are so ridiculously cheap now that they're almost free. And with color negative film having so much exposure latitude you really can just relax and shoot and not worry about all of the little nuances of digital. Digital is way too touchy and stressful. Film has its nuances too, but I like shooting both. Especially in broad daylight where digital just can't capture the huge dynamic range, film is my choice every time.

you can just fit in with your film camera. THe idea of this whole thing is to let people use their digital camera as a film camera.

31 October (Oktober) is a Saturday over here.

Thanks for the focal length equivalent. I think I'm in.

Should we all be concerned using a 50 prime on crop bodies or will it matter for the purpose of this challenge?
