These are the coolest photos I have seen in a while!!!! In fact, I think they are...Mega Ultra Super Cool!!! What type of trigger are you using? Thanks!!....Chris

LOVING These Bulb Shots!!!

My favorite work is to shoot studio stills... and these here are studio stills with stop action and then some....!!! that is too cool... thanks for sharing...
Can't wait to see what other destruct = > "o" ideas you come up with..

Thanks ! I'm using a sound activated switch kit that I bought at 'Jaycar'



I modified it and added a solid state relay for instant switching since the mechanical relay probably has a 5 ms delay to it .

Oh Goodie.... look forward to seeing what you come up with..

You know I was studying on capturing milk and paint drops some time ago, and the white and color splashes look awesome shot on a black backdrop... I wonder what would happen if you replaced the water in the balloon with a milk looking substance? I have replicated milk by adding cornstarch to water before... it may be worth a try...

Anyways, I am really enjoying your work.. I will be keeping my eyes peeled on your thread..

very cool shots and great idea!!! when i saw the first few, i thought "it looks like they were shot with an air rifle"....then i saw they were LOL i just got me a new air rifle. but not a flash setup

anyway, just had to say 'Great photos'

Thanks , there are easier[?] ways to do it . If you have two pieces of tin foil behind your object each with a wire going to them as the pellet joins them together it can trigger the flash for you !

I've been keeping a reasonable distance - it's the landlord's porch I'm worried about - I may have to move onto the grass .!
