Default Photo Restoration

It took some time but I finally figured out a while back how to restore old images and colour them in a manner that might be believable. This is my Mother's father when he returned from fighting in WWI.

That looks very good, Kate. It certainly has that subdued color which those older first color photos are known to display.

Thanks Wolf..it was tricky trying to develop an army green and a red brick. There is quit a method to doing this and I plan on developing a tut on it some day.

What a great job you've done with this.

I look forward to seeing the tut when you do it.

I really should do it. Its still not easy getting the colours right but folks like yourself who are just plain talented in this area would surely enjoy the challenge.

As a collector of my families vintage photo's I find this believable. I'd love to know how you did this. I have some ideas but would like to know for sure.

Thanks
