Another great set of photos to conclude week 1, Wolf.
I like the look of the Old Spaghetti Factory. I hear they take great care to make sure no one ever chokes on their food. They have some magic ingredients in the food to prevent that from occurring. You might have guessed that if you decoded their secret code. Yep, "The Old Spaghetti Factory" is scrambled word code for "fidgety tracheal hotspot".
I bet ph1a left you all pumped up for the day.
I bet that visiting the Gastown Clock was one way to allow you to let off some steam, especially after eating at the Spaghetti Factory.
I bet Gassy Jack eats at the Spaghetti Factory as well. I suspect he also has smoking ars.
That busker in ph4 appears a little strung out.
B&W works very well for set 5. That's what you call street level photography.
That's an undercover police van in ph6. The reinforced blue tape serves as the bars.
I really like those spider web reflections in ph7.
That Vancouver port looks like a page out of Where's Waldo.
Those are two great sets of color flowers to end the set. You sure are lucky to have such awesome weather out there. We have lots of white stuff covering everything back east but we are finally getting weather above the freezing point this week.
Cheers, Murray

It will take me a while to get weaned off the 365 addiction.

Thanks for your witty, smile inducing comments, Murray.
Lol fidgety tracheal hotspot.
You may have something there as our meals included as much sourdough bread (w. garlic butter) as we could eat. Nothing crumby about that.
They did a great job converting that old gas pump into an aquarium.
That cigar store sign has been like that for years now. I initially thought that someone had defaced or damaged it to look like it does. But that was about 10 years ago. I suppose it gets people smiling and into the store.
That steam clock is now cleaned up and rejuvenated - after 37 years there it recently enjoyed some much needed repairs and cleanup.
The port of Vancouver looked even stranger than a page from Where's Waldo and Gastown was full of poisonous gas the day after I took those photos as there was a major fire at the port.

Interesting shots. The portrait is great and I am a sucker for people shots too. I can not believe you have spring already. The house on legs is interesting too especially with the great background.

Thanks very much for your encouragement John. Appreciated.
We're enjoying some very fine weather the last few days with sunshine and temps in the low 60's (F).
The bad news is that our usual rainy weather will be back tomorrow.

Week 1 off with a nice series love the red.

Spaghetti factory are fun places to eat, iirc we have at least one DT Toronto.

The B&W ones look amazing. Might have to try convert some of mine to B&W this year.

Love those spring flowers - cherry trees?

Good luck with this 52, Wolf.

Another great set of photos for week 2, Wolf.
I see the contrast in ph1 and definitely like the view of the old over the new. Lots of character and detail. Nice colors.
What is that Seaspan and what is all the sand for?
I love that old river boat in ph5. Not that many around any more.
It's really weird to see palm trees growing at that credit union.
You come across some amazing things at those thrift stores. Those are excellent figurines and Tony would have been very attracted to them.
That's a beautiful set of flowers to pause the set.
That's a very nice portrait of Liam and Pam to start part 2 of the week.
I love ph2 and it was wise of you not to identify which of you 3 were good/bad/ugly. I love the reflections in the window and that's a great selfie. Since you were outside the store, the staff inside would not have been able to give you the boot.
Those are beautiful signs of sSpring in ph3 & 3a. I bet the air was very fragrant from those blossoms.
Thanks for posting the photo of the Light Shed and the plaque explaining its origin. I wondered if it's base & legs were sturdy enough to support its massive weight. But then I realized that "Light Shed" is just scrambled letter code for "Led Thighs"
Cheers, Murray

Thanks for your kind words Eero. Appreciated.
Spaghetti Factory have really expanded over the years. This particular one is special for my wife and I as it was the where I took her on our first date over 40 years ago.

Thank you Martin.
Sorry but I'm not sure what type of trees they are though.

Thanks for your detailed comments Murray. Appreciated as always.
That barge load is wood chips - likely going to be made into pulp / paper.
Seaspan is a large marine related services provider in the Pacific North West.
This includes tug and barge service, several ship building / repair yards, and intermodal ferry services.
Lol on your comments re the boot shoppe.
Ha ha ha Led thighs descrambled.
