Your gas prices are slightly less than the $1.30 / litre we are paying here at the moment.
Thank you. My objective for this 52week project is to mainly use auto features on the camera to take the shot and then do minor PP mostly in LR if required or needed.

The D7100 has a Scene mode that has 16 settings, and an Effect mode that has 7 different ones. Might not use them all but some of them look cool.

Nice sun flare - I think I like the second one best.

Seeing your "Shell game", I am a little embarrassed to post our gas prices here, but they are $1.08/liter. Calculations give about $4.09US a gallon south of 49. I was up in the central northern part of the province over Christmas and they were having a bit of a price war. I actually got gas for $0.99 a litre - go figure.

Thank you, Well aware that Alberta has cheap Petrol , I recall when they sold it for $0.30/Imperial Gal. and elsewhere in Canada it was closer to $0.60. The good old days.
Europe is about 2x our average. Calgary seemed to always be cheaper then Edmonton.

Calgary is no longer cheaper than Edmonton. I was in Edmonton over Christmas and actually bought gas for 0.99˘ a litre. In Calgary it was selling for $1.04 a litre. Edmonton gas has been cheaper than Calgary gas for a long time now. Still, it is nowhere near what folks pay for it in other parts of Canada. Part of the "Eastern" cost is because they are refining offshore oil which is more expensive than Western Canadian Crude - price driven by world markets and access. You can't get Alberta crude to the east, yet. Hopefully, this will happen sooner than later.

OUCH!

I would hazard a guess that you folks are taxed to death on your gas, or I guess the term is petrol over there.

Default Week #3 Jan 13, 2014

1. Ok start of with a silly one taken with my 1.3mp camera phone, while at guess where?
Tweaked a bit in LR and no resizing hehehe (so a bit larger dimensions then my normal images)

2. Effect : Color sketch

3. Effect: Night vision aka ISO HI4 (2 stops lower then the best setting via ISO HI2 ) ISO 102400 (this mode uses monochrome , B&W)

Now that is one biggg cup of coffee!

I think I like the "color sketch" best of the three.
