Smile 52 Week Project Forum.

For anybody who wants to start a project which challenges them.
If you don't have the time to do a daily 365 project, do a weekly one instead.

Your pictures can be anything you want them to be; there are no stipulations.
If you want to learn a whole new discipline, like still life or portraiture, this could be something to help you.

Unless you ask for it, there won't be any critique on your images.

If you've been dithering about starting a 365...dip your toe in a 52 instead!!

Sounds good to me! If I totally fail at the 365, I can always fall back on this. I know I can take at least one decent shot a week.

You are not going to fail! I will send Bob over there to beat you if you even mention such heresy again!

I was so excited to see this, because I completely failed my 365. I've set a goal with myself to try to learn something completely new each week...or, rather...experiment something new each week. Haha!

I finally found a thread that goes for the weekly shots instead of the daily shots - took a few days, but I found it. Daily shots just are not the thing for me, but one a week I can handle. My theme for the weekly shots is going to be macro and closeup images. So I will start tomorrow as today I went out and bought a bouquet of assorted flowers to practice with - its winter here and all the outside flowers are gone and the insects are either dead or hibernating. I am leaving the bouquet in water overnight to allow them to open up a bit, but tomorrow will be over them like glue on a stamp - crazy metaphor I know...anyway just a question or two - I am assuming that I create my own thread and posts all 52 images on the thread, or do I post a new thread each week? Can I also post black and white conversion sof my "52 week" images, or is it preferred to stick to colour? Regardless, I am looking forward to participating in this thread - so "sticking my toe in" so to speak.

Cheers,

WesternGuy

Welcome WesternGuy. You start your own thread and post all your images to the same thread. You can do whatever post processing you want to do on your images...the choice is yours. Also, you can post more than one image if you want per week...or just stick to a single image.

When you get chance pop down to the main project forum and tell us a bit about yourself. )

Well, I'm giving it a try. Don't know how well I'll be able to stick to it, but was feeling guilty looking at everyone else's shots from their corner of the word and not showing anything of mine.
