Went out for a walk with the dog earlier ..came across a cemetery .. weather awful grey, drizzling, flat lighting ..but still got a few shots in

Day 8 17th Nov 2013

This is the grave of the Vicar from the church .
its separate from the others and a fair bit bigger

Attachment 205988

Two graves side by side .. both belong to children, one was 4 months the other 2yrs 6 months unsure if they were sisters as only one had parents names on it ,still so sad
I edited out the name of the child ..these headstones/angels are only about 2 feet high including base

Re: Philbys 365

I did quite a few indoor macro/close-up type shots in my first 365 when I ran out of time during the day.
If you haven't already got it, off camera lighting helps too. :)

Good luck!

The couch potato shot made me chuckle. :)

The Angel watching over the graves is a very nice shot. The saturation of the moss and fogginess give the image a timeless feeling. The composition is also nice with her turned to the side and the blurry bouquet on the right balancing the heaviness of the monument.
