Day 9

I expected much needed rain today, which didn't show. Very low light though, I stayed at home to photograph the garden birds with little success.

Not a sharp selection.

Female Blackbird.

At distance Female and Male Yellowhammer.

Jay with peanut.

Goldfinch.

Another lovely bird selection Tony. My fave is the Goldfinch. I recently put birdseed in our feeder at Harrison, hopefully the birds notice it soon as I'm hoping to get some Bluebird shots out of it.

Wow, great set of 4-10 photos, Tony.
That 1st photo would indicate the the church is more than a stones-throw away from where you live.
Really like those interior shots - definitely some vintage woodwork.
You did very well with you 1st marriage photography, although the bride looks a bit mousy and the groom a little dyed in the wool.
In that "On the way home" photo, what is it that is covering that roof?
That Tempus Fugit clock is really creative.
Those are very nice horses. I forget what they called but they have really warm temperaments.
Nice to see the daffodils closing off the set. A positive sign of Spring.
Cheers, Murray

Thank you Murray,

The roof covering is reed/thatch. It grows in the area, but much is imported from China

Even on a crappy weather/light day your birds are so colorful, and so well done, Tony!

12-4-2013

Day 10

It rained most of the morning and early afternoon, so I stayed in to keep the birds company today.

Female and Male Chaffinches.

A Robin at distance.

Goldfinch with soggy brow.

A new visitor for me, a Female Reed Bunting.
