Exactly how I would put it! Love the closeup of the toad, the mushroom rocks, and the lurking spider is great, George will love it.

Great flower shots, and of course, I love that little Flower Crab Spider waiting for a snack!
Very well done, Martha!

Started off early in this morning with this reflection which caught my eye. I was sitting on the sofa with my feet on the coffee table. The early morning sun streaming in the window caused my feet to be reflected in the glass doors of the entertainment center across the room. Somehow they called to me to get my camera

Then Otis walked in front of the camera (You will probably get tired of seeing him before this is all done.)

Later in the day the butterflies were finally more cooperative.

Late in afternoon I spotted this bug

Excellent and varied series from feet to insects! Otis is a great name for an animal as stately as your friend. I never tire of seeing our Furbabies!
Love those butterflies and the Cucumber Bug.
Very well done!

Only at day four and beginning to fall behind in posting. Yesterday I decided to go for a walk through the woods down to the creeks with Otis to see what I might be able to capture.

Such an interesting critter, and you captured him well!

They call those flowers Fireweed here. I've never understood why they don't call it by it's rightful name.
I've only seen these flowers in two places on Irish Creek, and I'm always late to shoot them!

Like the abstractness of this shot.

Thanks for all your comments. I worked hard on the color of all these shots because much to my chagrin they were all washed out and tinted blue because I had accidentally set the white balance to manual. Even had that not been the case, though, I'm sure I would have had to adjust the color of the ironweed. None of my cameras ever seem to capture it accurately. This time I was rather determined to try to remember its actual color it and adjust it realistically.

Very nice shots. You are right. Dogs and water go hand in hand. You captured the creek nicely
