I haven't spent much time out your way, I have family in Endicott and Vestal so that's about as far as I get west regularly.

We used to visit Vestal once in a while (Chuck E. Cheese) when the kids were younger. That's almost an hour east of me. Elmira is going downhill. Not the best place, but I live outside of it in a tiny country town. So far where I am is still a good place for family.

I've been committing repeated acts of photography since about 1969 (again I date myself.) Anyway, that's the oldest photos I still have in my collection. I finally went (mostly) digital earlier this year when I bought a Sony NEX-5 that allows me to use all of my manual focus lenses that I have collected over the years with my Canon FD cameras.

I haven't attempted a 365 Project before because I thought people who did so must be a little bit crazy. I'm a week into this thing now, and I still hold with that theory.

My project thread is here.
Commited repeated acts of photography that's hilarious!!!! We welcome you Alan, and yes, I guess we are all a bit crazy, but I think everyone's work is awesome, and I can see a lot of growth over the last year!

Hi there, this is krispy, real name Dave. I have to tell you about me (Miranda told me do it or else ).

I live in North Central Pa, 10 yrs ago I was badly burned in an explosion at work and spent months in Pittsburgh Burn unit but made it thru all that.

I am married with three teenagers, the oldest, 17, is fighting cancer.

I have had slr cameras since '91 but always ran in auto mode until recently I am taking over my camera like I should have long ago. I'm having a blast learning and it helps occupy my mind thru our rough days. I started the 365 to help push me to get better.

Thanks for all the help you guys and gals provide.
