Default If you don't succeed at first.......

I've made an attempt a number of times to complete a 365, all have failed up to this date. So to complete the folkloric proverb in the title , .........try, try again

I probably did'nt complete them as I took the meaning too literaly, i.e. Take the photograph, process and post all in the same day.

I'll attempt to keep to that, but if the days piccy turned out to be a tad rough, due to time constraints etc, I'll add another from that day later, as long as I get something posted on the day. An opt out I know, but I want to give meself a chance this time.

I was going to start this 365 yesterday with this photograph, but chickened out.

I did'nt really feel like asking him to move away from the see through rubbish bag, so along with the chewing gum on the floor it can stay

Welcome! My rules for myself are that I need to take at least one photo every day but I don't fuss too much about when(if) they get posted. I try not to get too far behind just because that is disheartening.

I like them all - especially yesterday's!

Thanks Tracy Yes the philisophical approach is probably more stress free

Nothing is carved in stone, and as it's suposed to be fun as well as a personal challenge, things can change, and probably will

Awwwwesome! Glad to have another face over at the 365! I also photograph every day but like Tracy process and post when I get time (and also try not to fall behind, because editing 500+ photos at once is horrible!) Love your work, can't wait to see more! Love the ladybug! She's my favorite!

Thank you Miranda

I had a very poor day of it today, filled 3 cards and binned just about the whole lot.

Then my Photoshop decided to get the wobbles, and keep cutting out, that'll teach me to watch what I'm deleting in an attempt to free up disc space.

So I could'nt do much processing on these.

Greater crested Grebe taking lunch.

Swan displaying.

I post these only because they're the first Kingfisher that I managed to get a photograph of this year. Dire quality as they were both at over 50 meters away.

Don't look back.

Another poor day, the weather has been constantly wet and windy.

I don't collect coins, but somehow seem to have ended up with a few oddities.

One of these is a Victoran penny from 1854, I dug it up in my garden. A pocket full of them would have you walking at a 45 degrees angle.

And these two on the left and right are so small as to be allmost pointless.

All sorts of different shapes and sizes from 3 different centuries. Travelling through time.

The rain finaly stopped long enough for me to get a shot of this osmanthus, beautiful smell it has too.

That's quite the collection of money! It would cost you a fair bit to do all the travelling you would need to do to spend it.

Thank you Tracy and Miranda

The kingfisher is guarding this piece of territory, and so far unsuccessfuly, trying to attract a mate. Still too far away for me to get any decent photographs, these are a couple of record shots.

I still can't work out what the stone is doing on top of the post.

We're getting a few more insects around now. It wont be long before the dragonflies are about.
