Pros: Inexpensive, sharp, versatile
Cons: Not splash and dust sealed, needs lots of light

Of the entire Olympus Zuiko Digital lens lineup the 70-300mm probably gives the most bang for the buck. The lens produces sharp images and as long as there's plenty of light is very versatile. This lens has produced crisp results for everything from landscape to sports and the occasional macro. It is a very versatile lens and well worth the price of entry. For anyone wanting to get outdoors with an Olympus DSLR I'd have to say this should probably be the first lens on your wish list.

Pros:
Cons:

This lens is quite heavy but when you consider the number of lenses and the range it is not bad. I had a Tamron 60-300 (35mm mount with adapter) before this and that weighed in at 1035gms so the Olympus is nearly half the weight.

Only had the lens a couple of days so still getting used to it. Love the pictures so far.
