Pros:
Compact ,easy to use, Extremely high quality for its money, power of built-in flash
Cons:
Not all the accesories tha Nikon provides to the biggest models
It's the best option for the amateurs who don't want to pay too much but they want to have the best results in this price range. Absolutely recommended. I use mine for 1 year. I photo landscapes, close-ups (especially flowers), portraits and many people activities ( I am a boy scout and i have this chance at any time especially with children). I use the 18-105 VR NIKORR lens, the 55-200 VR and the 18-55 ED II. I'm very pleased and i think that i made the best choice for this price...

Cons:
not one (for the price paid)
The nikon D60 is a very versatile small digital single lens reflex , 10mp, 3 AF points, still video, large screen (compaird to the D50 i had ) . start up is fast , like the af that kicks in fast too . nikon has made a great camera to carry around. It has no AF motor in the body so you need AFS glass from nikon.
this is a great camera for those that are tired of a slow P&S , compaired to that this is a very fast camera. for what the camera can do i made a good deal

Pros:
Small, light, easy to use. Menu is straight forward.
Cons:
Haven't discovered anything that bugs me yet.
Bought one off Craig's List with 18-70 lens. Have a D90 but wanted a bang around camera and the D60 looked like a good choice. I haven't been disappointed. Easy to use and great pictures. I'll be giving the D90 a well deserved rest. For all around snapshooting it would be hard to beat. 10 megapixels gives plenty crop room. The 18-70 AFS ED lens is sharp.
.... and acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.

Pros:
small, light ,durable, true dslr
Cons:
not one (for the price paid)
I am very happy with this light backup to my Nikon D80 and Nikon D200. there are times that i do not want to carry so much gear but still want a dslr. That is the reason i bought one about a half year ago second hand for a stealers price .
It makes nice photo's and is a true digital friend where there sure is camel love for it. I need to get to know it better but am pleased with some results
