Description: The Westcott Portable Studio Lighting Kit 2 for Flash Heads is comprised of several elements. The Apollo and Halo softboxes are constructed using an umbrella frame. No speed rings are needed, just use the umbrella recepticle on your light. Easy opening and closing means easy set-up and takedown. The Apollo square or rectangular shape allows you to scrim or control the light more readily. The Halo provides a 140� of light spread. For direct diffusion, position the light facing the white diffuser panel. The light will have a bright center with a soft edge. The distance of the light to the diffuser panel will govern the brightness of the center of the light. For indirect diffusion, mount the Apollo or Halo with the light facing towards the back of the light modifier. With the light in this position, light will bounce off the silver metalized back of the unit and produce a more uniform, softer light. Use this kit to diffuse and soften the light from your studio strobe. The collapsible white/silver reflector fills in shadows with a soft, or specular quality. With the advent of the high power ZEUS� system, we felt it necessary to provide a significantly improved Vagabond II battery powering unit, offering faster recycle times from a single second generation PSI900GF pure sine wave inverter (designed specifically for Paul C. Buff, Inc.� lighting systems). This level of power from a single inverter is necessary for high power units such as the ZEUS�. The single PSI900GF inverter converts the power from the internal 20AH, 12 Volt battery into a current-controlled, pure sine wave power source. NOTE: Vagabond II will operate 110V lights, but can be charged from any voltage from 95V to 265V.
