Contest Terms and Eligibility

By participating in any Contest conducted on or by PhotoCamel.com (hereafter referred to as PhotoCamel), you agree to the following:

PhotoCamel Contests are open to PhotoCamel members who are 18 years of age or older at the time the Contest commences and have at least 20 posts on PhotoCamel's discussion boards. Voting is restricted to those who have made at least 20 posts on PhotoCamel's discussion boards.

There may be a limit to the number of entries per participant. See the contest page itself for details. Failure to abide by this limit will be grounds for disqualification.

The user names of participants and winners will be made public by PhotoCamel.

In order to receive prizes, winning contestants must be willing to provide their real name and address either to PhotoCamel or to the Sponsor.

Prizes come from the Contest Sponsor, not from PhotoCamel, and by entering the contest, you agree not to hold PhotoCamel responsible for furnishing prizes in the event that any issue arises with a Contest Sponsor that prevents the Sponsor from furnishing a prize.

PhotoCamel reserves the right to reproduce images of winning contestants in announcements, threads within the forum, or marketing materials. All other rights to entered photographs remain with their creators.

The Contest is void where prohibited by law or regulation. Participants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of PhotoCamel which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Contest.

PhotoCamel reserves the right to disqualify any participant that it determines, in its sole discretion, is ineligible to participate in the Contest. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a winner, the winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" [defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.)] of the email address of the user submitted at the time of the entry.

PhotoCamel reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Contest, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Neither PhotoCamel nor the Sponsor assumes any responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

PhotoCamel is not responsible for problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers computer equipment, software, failure of any email, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or uploading any materials to this Contest.

By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and hold PhotoCamel and the the Sponsor harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize(s) including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, property damages and any claims by third parties or otherwise based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

Entrants acknowledge that PhotoCamel and the Sponsor are not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any Prize.
